It's certainly not finding that bird and getting photos of it. \n\nJust none of those things.\n\n~\nSince I\u2019m not here and I\u2019m definitely not on vacation, I certainly didn't make a video about the owl I didn't see today.\n\nBut if I had gone out\u2014which I didn't\u2014it might have looked a little like this.\n\nDay two of a vacation I\u2019m not taking involved not testing a new vest system for my cameras and binoculars. It also didn't involve me walking two miles back and forth past a very specific tree while looking for an Eastern Screech Owl that I was told wasn't there.\n\nEventually, I didn't find it. Join me as we explore the wonders of wildlife together, capturing the beauty of the natural world through stunning visuals and immersive soundscapes.\nIt's a bit of a mystery to me as well, why I do this. I started taking photographs of birds and found it to be quite a thrilling challenge. It fulfills me more than anything else I've ever done in life and I realized it was more than a hobby, it was a passion. My older brother, a professional photographer for many years, piqued my interest in the field and I was able to learn a lot from him. Now, I'm sharing that knowledge and experience with others.\nThe entire point of this channel is to share the experiences, mistakes, and the entire journey. I make vlogs detailing each trip out and what I see. I learn what kinds of wildlife I find and do my best to identify it. Nature documentaries, especially those by David Attenborough and his teams, were a big inspiration to switch to video recording. I'm still learning every day and doing my best to share that on the channel.\nI plan to travel more, as I currently have to work a full-time job. This is something I do whenever I have free time on the weekends.
